NATASHA AMA ECK
I.D.I PROJECT MANAGER
Afro-Caribbean Dance Artist | Creative Producer | Educator | Kemetic Yoga practitioner | Advocate
Natasha Ama Eck is an Afro-Caribbean dance artist, creative producer, educator, Kemetic Yoga practitioner, and advocate for the health and wellness of girls and women. Her practice centers African knowledge systems, sacred arts, and embodied memory, viewing the body as a site of healing, resistance, and ancestral wisdom.
Trained at Bird College (UK), Natasha performed as a company member with COBA (Collective of Black Artists) and with V’Works, led by Vivine Scarlett. Mentorship from Dr. Yanique Hume and Diane Roberts has deeply influenced her engagement with ritual, storytelling, and ancestral transmission through movement. With over a decade of experience, Natasha has demonstrated her ability to create and facilitate culturally relevant and responsive arts education programs and projects.
Natasha is also the founder of Ama PM, a project management consultancy that bridges the gap between artistic vision and operational infrastructure, guiding artists and organizations in bringing projects to life with clarity, care, and strategic insight. Natasha holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts, a Bachelor of Education from York University (Canada), and a Project Management Certification. She has collaborated with artists and organizations including Nadia Myre, Vincent Mantsoe, Mafa Dance Village, and Jaberi Dance Theatre. Natasha previously served as Producer-in-Residence with the Pan African Creative Exchange (PACE) and co-hosted the Arts Administration in Africa podcast series with Dr. Taiwo Afolabi.
